Antarctica FSX released today (payware)

Apologies for my post Tea Sea. I was feeling a little flaky at the time. Unfortunately my mrs has put a freeze on me using the cc but having viewed an avalanche of sceenshots I've put a lot of thawed into how I can change her mind, if you get my drift? According to her I'm on a slippery slope.here and am skating on very thin ice. Best to wrap up this thread before it snowballs out of control. Have an ice day!!!:guinness:

......and as a bonus, the Aerosoft DHC-6 Twin Otter of the Britisch Antarctic Survey is included within the whole package! :salute:

Anyone considering buying this must be able to open the download as a RAR file. I had to hunt around for some additional software to open it.

Well just got installed and taking flight from Mcmurdo to CTAM Camp. The snow whisp on the rwy was neat as was the giant snow blower.

This is dam funny. Only us FS geeks would get all excited about highly detailed Antarctica scenery! This continent is really quite spectacular, from pics I've seen, and the screen shots look amazing. I'm getting it too! :icon_lol:

Anyone knows better sounds for this BO-105 (I have only default + fix). Sound is very poor in model.

Sure this one is now museum,d in Florida , one other LC-47 lives here at Ferrymead Museum here in Christchurch donated by the US Navy after there retirement in the late 60s , a very common site back then .

What is up with the pinty nose? Did it contain some sort of weather radar? Just curious...will google now but know the answers here are often more accurate than wiki
