On a more serious note, I'm impressed with the complex animation required to create the dance moves. Just FTX showcasing...and why not?
 
I want more Animal flow, not people flow. I'd like to have a polar bear in my way when on approach or grizzly eating a piper. Maybe a buffalo trashing a fancy city slicker GA aircraft lol. But yes the animations and movements are a true marvel in technology for FSX .

The interesting thing is that when Bill Womack and I queried MS about moving people at the Devcon in 2007, their specialist said it would be near impossible because of the amount of work and the resulting performance hit. I hope he sees this :icon_lol:

I agree. With the dancing lady FTX demonstrates it is possible to have complex animations running smoothly without a major FPS impact.
Transform that into ramp-handlers working on the ramp with fluid movements instead of robotic behavior ....THAT will add the term "realistic" to scenery's.

I have always wanted a few Bigfoot models to plop around the US of A so I could hunt for him/her/it while doing my low and slows across the country in FS9. Glad that I am not the only Bigfoot dreamer on SOH.

great idea

I look forward to it. They need use this technology in some of the nice vacation spots that dont even have static people, and how about this, Me looking out the window of my 377 and watching a stewardess greating passengers or looking over and watching a fellow pilot doing a walkaround, the possabilities are endless, so yes bring it on.

I got just the thing for BIGFOOT . I can skim the tree tops and hit afterburner and scald his a-- or rip him to pieces with some 20mm canon fire . :icon_lol:
 
Hi guys,

The aim of the video is to show our new motion capture animation in contrast to the previous manual system. We have added a new full-time staff member to develop this tech, incuding ground marshalls and other ways for interacting and responding to events and conditions.
 
id like to see animals added to scenery like pacific northwest or something to have bear in the rivers,deer ect,,have a reason to low fly and look for things...ive allways wished there would be wrecked cars spattered around to find as well....
