Classic. Nice work.

Just beautiful!
Some very nice paints Jankees; hey maybe you could do a "hippie" one (I always think this looks like a flying VW Combie! :icon_lol:)

Any chance you'd do a Lake Renegade someday?

Checking out the paint kit right now! :jump:

EDIT: I am totally going to do an old Chevy style paint with the blue and white. Something like this:

For some reason I think it'd look great on the plane.

Not sure about doing the Lake. There are technical problems with its low hull design and I would need to find a local Lake for proper references. There is also the small fact I think they are ugly :icon_lol:. We haven't decided on a next project yet, and honestly sales of the Seabee will dictate if there even is a next project. Lets just say the market is not nearly as good as it once was. My fingers are crossed!

Just saw one of those pass over the auction block at Barrett-Jackson's car sauction/show at Scottsdale, AZ last night. It's on again today from 2pm until 1am(EST) on the Speed Channel (USA)

ARE WE THERE YET, DAD??? :jump: (Sorry, Gibbage. LOL)

Kevin, I hope and pray you have good sales with the Seabee.
I think there will be a lot of interest in this add-on, it's a classic plane to "must-have" in the hangar, IMHO.
Your screenshots on the product page should sell anyone.

I know I'm very interested. :icon_lol:

There have been a few pass thru Barrett-Jackson over the recent past years.
I suspect they are living as 'Hangar Queens' these days, displayed for the style only. :kilroy:

Hanger queens these are NOT. They are made to be flown and it would be a crying SHAME to lock it up in a hanger. I have gotten to know many Seabee owners and pilots and the last thing they want is a hanger queen. The Franklin engines are getting hard to come by now, but that wont keep them out of the air!!! Also many pilots re-engine Seabee's with Lycoming and even Corvette engines to keep them going.

How much were they selling for?

I think he was talking about a BelAir up for auction, not a Seabee.

My misunderstanding about the BelAir. Sorry.
I know a SeaBee was auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson a couple of years ago, so I thought maybe another went thru this year.

No argument here, but I believe the one SeaBee that went thru the auction was bound for a museum.

A lot closer. We JUST got the installer back from the programmer. Just need to include the F1 wrapper and let the testers have a go. It should be this week, but dont hold me to that!
