Hey guys,

I'm going to take a break from CFS2 for the time being. In addition to dealing with the grief from the loss of my father in October, I found out yesterday from mom after going to the doctor for a sinus infection that she has scarring in the lower part of her left lung (the same lung my dad had problems with, initially) and has six nodules they found on an X-Ray. She's having a CT scan on Monday to find out whether or not they may be cancerous. She's also in end-stage renal failure and scheduled to start dialysis in early April.

I'm having a difficult time handling all of this, and don't want to get into a situation where I take my frustrations, anger, and grief out on those who are close to me, so I'm going to seek out some help to handle all the curves that life seems to want to throw at me lately.

I'll still manage the library, but I need to concentrate on my family and my own "issues" right now.

Sorry to hear about your Mom Rami and I'm glad you got to enjoy your latest vacation before discovering your Mom's new health issue.

Lament that news. 3 of my grandparents died of cancer, I have panic cancer, but treatable cancer in some cases successfully, especially that you mentioned if treated in time, don´´t waste time. Good luck friend.

Rami,
You know that my wife and I are very much in prayer for your mom, you, and your family.
If you need me to step in and help with anything here in the basement, just let me know.

All my best wishes to you and your family, Rami. It is rough, I know this from my own experiences. So hang in there and take care of yourself the best you can. Your important to your family, and to your friends here at the forum.

Sincerely,
GM

Lord, I'm sorry Rami. I've had to deal with the same thing and know how tough it can be. Go do what you need to. My prayers are with you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Rami. I know what you are going through as I lost both my parents within 2 years of one another.

Andrew,

Family first. And you need to take care of yourself too, so you can be there for them.

My best wishes for you.

Andrew,
Best of luck to you and your loved ones. And don't forget to take care of yourself. This old farm will take care of itself.
