KC Flight Shop Republic RC-3 SeaBee Now Released! (Payware)

Update . . . after doing some research, I've found that Themida is legitimate software that is used to protect files from being "reverse engineered" by hackers. In this case, it is probably part of the Flight1 wrapper's anti-piracy protections.

This is a well-known and documented "False Positive," meaning that while your AV is detecting a Themida signature, it has no way to distinguish between a legitimate and illegitimate package.

Flight1 has been asking AV folks for YEARS to update their signature files to stop this false reporting to absolutely no avail. See post #14 in this thread from Steve Halpern directed to the folks at ESET (makers of NOD32), dated September 13, 2007:
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=184840

See also this thread at AVSIM from 2009. What it comes down to in the end is whether you trust the source of the software you're trying to install. Flight1 has been in business more than long enough to have earned our trust. :applause:

Thanks, Gents. I'm very happy to hear that this is a known issue and the file is safe. I'm off to download!

This is wonderful news. Although I actually prefer the twin, I've been drooling over this since the first time I saw of it's release.

With having recently had my main gaming PC stolen, I'm using a borrowed lower spec machine just now, meaning I can't really use some of the more heavy duty addons. So, this release is PERFECT for me at the moment.

Off to download NOW!

Thanks Kevin AND ALL OTHERS involved for bringing us this magical little bird!

:applause::applause::applause:

Thanks Jankees for your paints! OleBoy when will you be uploading yours?...The more the merrier for me with this bird:applause:

After going through paypal, and clicking the "Complete Paypal Purchase" button (with the code entered in the text field, it begins to process, then says that the order is declined. Any reason why? I was really looking forward to flying the SeaBee this morning...now Flight1 is torturing me. :icon_lol:

Is your PayPal account linked to your bank checking and/or savings account, or if not do you have sufficient funds in the PayPal account? I honestly can't think of any other reasons unless it's a temporary connectivity issue between the F1 server and PayPal...

In any case, open a ticket at Flight1's support system and make an inquiry: http://www.flight1.com/ticket.asp

I've had no issues ordering through Flight1 in the past. I have enough funds to cover the cost. Very strange. I will open a support ticket and see what happens.

Thanks,
Brandon

Really enjoying this aircraft:applause:

Tried to buy through Flight1, no joy at all, same problem as above, it's just a pain it stated it could not find an account for my email address.
Well it did yesterday, spent all day trying to reload FEX, in frustration in the end I paid for it again thinking I would receive the latest version,
what I got was the older 1.3 version not the 2.03.

I have opened this stupid ticket thing of theirs but had no reply yet.

And for those asking, yes we will provide the Seabee to other markets then F1. We have not decided on who yet, but I think Simmarket will be one of them. For now we will be selling on our web page through F1 since its the best return. Selling through other venders will take a much bigger cut of the sales.

Why not another Swede?
Sweden seems perfect for the Seabee, with all those lakes..

a few more tomorrow, hopefully.

Isn't it great when a plane you have high hopes for turns out to be every bit that good when it's released? :medals:

Thanks Kevin and Chuck and Bernt for a great effort and Jankees for those great paints too. Really like the flight model, Bernt.

Cheers,
steve. :wavey:

Tried disabling my antivirus. That didn't work. Opened a support ticket a couple of hours ago, and still no reply. Have also tried placing the order again. No success. This is getting annoying...I want to fly it so bad! :banghead:

Jankees

Turn the American flag so the blue field faces forward unless that is how it is depicted on the real bird.
