Spotted this thing flying above Cranwell AB. In all my years of flying the sim I have never ever seen anything like this before. Bizarre!

Naw. It's just the top of mountain (hill?) sticking out past the 'TOP' of the VISIBILITY LAYER. Raise the top of the visibility layer (in User Defined/Custom/ Advanced weather) a few K ft and it will 'go away'. Or drop down a few K and your aircraft will be 'inside' that VISIBILITY LAYER and you won't 'see' that mountain top sticking out. It's the same for FS9 by the way.
