Good evening,

At long last, The B-24 Guy has released his namesake, and reworked the stock B-24D Liberator, adding a virtual cockpit with working gauges, and lots of other improvements and goodies. Thank you very much for doing the entire set of stock planes for us! :icon29:

WAHOO! I know we have had KM's fantastic set, but B-24 Guy finally finishes his long stock remake project! Thank you sir!

B24 Guy, may I also add my plaudit for an excellent job well done. Many thanks. Top bloke.

Graham Sullivan. London.

She's a keeper!...outstanding work in every department! :medals:...and i love those animated waist gunner stations.:tgun2:

PS. Yeah, I admit I have already tinkered....I adjusted the bomb door speed to 0.7 based on some document film footage of the B-24. Those doors open fast! (unless the film was speeded up)

Wow,
Thanks Everyone, I sure do enjoy hearing all the nice comments.

Ghostrider glad you like how she flys. I tried to make her work in the game. As an AI She can take off from the CFS2 airstrips, Bomb her targets and land. I have had a flight of eight land at Henderson.

Bearcat, thanks for the nice comment on the waist gunners. That was the first thing I wanted to do to her. I think that they turned out well.

Sc7500, That danged ball turret just about did me in. It is not the best, but its much better than the orginal.

And she still gets good frame-rates.

And to Everyone THANKS AGAIN hope you enjoy her as much as I do.

Regards,
B24Guy

Applause !

No, WE thank YOU !

If / when, some decade, my brain slips a cog and I actually grasp the intricacies of SCASM / GMax / etc, I will attempt to do the kind of work that you make look easy.

Until then, I toil in the guts of the machinery, fiddling with DPs, AIR files, and Layout basics.....

Bravo, B24 - You done good

Wow!!!!

I remember you saying that the B-24 was a most recalcitrant model to work with. Now that you've finally cracked the code on its model, we'll be flying high!

Thanks for the continued efforts. My CFS 2 uses all of your updated MS AI aircraft in virtually all theaters of WWII.

Hi Gaucho_59,

Very nice. You could upload and Rami could add to the zip.
I am just a cut and paste painter.

Thanks,
B24Guy
