My latest video featuring the S-3 Viking!

So after watching the vid, I went to my archives and dragged out the Iris S-3 and reinstalled. It's been a few years since I took it for a spin. Oh, for the love of humanity the VC is hideous, which is why I removed it to begin with.

I guess that answers the question why your vid is focused on the exterior, lol. It is a nice exterior.
 
Haha, you hit the nail on the head... I stay outside that one because the VC is a monstrosity that looks more like something out of FS98. But I love everything else about that aircraft. I was just thinking today how cool it would be if Iris revisited the S-3, and built a new S-3 on par with the Mudhen or the A-10. I know I'd buy it. :)
 
I'd love to see the S-3 redone thats for sure. The external on this is not all that bad...just needs a very nice VC and maybe a couple load options. I will say this...the shape of this USN plane is much closer than some of the stuff coming out in payware. I have deided a couple months ago.....if I'm not sold on the overall exterior....I'm staying away. give me a decent VC but I need a totally on the mark exterior. I wish some companies would use actual scale drawings when they did their models.
