Does anyone by chance have the fix so Sean Anderson's KI-49's wheels rotate during takeoff roll? Seems I saw a fix at one time but I can't remember where.
Thanks

I e-mailed Sean Anderson himself to see if he has a fix. I'll let you all know if he gets back with me.

KI-49 Wheel Fix Available and new panel!

The fix for the KI-49 main wheels not turning along with a new panel was sent to me. If anyone wants them just PM me your email address and I'd be happy to send them off to you. The prop has a new animation that I think is much better than before. The B24 Guy told me the VC panel still needs a lot of work. Once that is done he will upload a pack to the outhouse.

add you breaking parts to ki-49?

No, I have not tried to do that yet. Might look into it though.

There are few breaking parts twin-engined Japanese bombers for cfs 2.Would make the plane more interesting, if you can add him breaking parts.
I'm bored of always shoot down G4m2 bettys,The ki-49 is more modern and faster than G4m2.

Anyway thank you for the B-24!

Hi All,

Well, I did it. Now just 3 more LOD's to go.
Has anyone done, or want to do, some DP work on this bird?

B24Guy

Looks like a nice AC Maxstuka,

I will see if I can fit it in.

It's the only Ki67 plane avaiable, but you will have some copyright issues with it. The Japanese author, a very talented man, didn't aprove any changes in his aircrafts. This was explicit in his readme.

Copyright issues have prevented me from doing some upgrades on the older aircraft.

This is a bit of a dilema as some of the designers have moved onto other things and can also be uncontactable - and in some cases it is very hard to find out who the original copyright holder is. I prefer to see that any designs/previous work are fully credited in the readme's and all of us should be doing the same. Some work that has been submitted in the past have had nothing to identify it - the Major Moon Mullins skin which I uploaded on behalf of the original creator for the server restore project was a classic example. Some have old email addresses that are no longer in use.

Also another dilema - do we as a group let those designs fade away or update them in honour of the original designer ?

Otherwise upgrades will only cover a small group of models and probably be limited to fixing up propellors and the occasional fault.

I personally would like to see a Golden Oldies upgrade where the models that have no equivalent are upgraded where possible, and the original creators fully credited along with a proviso that the model was being upgraded to preserve the model for future use and the honour of the original work remains with the original creator of that work. Obviously where they have specified that no work is to be carried out without their permission than that needs to be respected.

There was also a model with 2 readme's, one said no, the other said yes with conditions.

The next option is to establish a working group that will make new models, given that there have been previous groups that have done some tremendous work and moved on, can we get some of those members back into a new group or do we get some new recruits and train them up ? Am currently looking at finishing some repainting projects then becoming involved in design - have taken the first steps just need to progress those skills/knowledge. Job and health situation have been major hurdles over the last few years.
