Skysim Mirage 3 out!

Are there any repaints of the Mirage IIIE in IAF silver paint out there? Even if IAF never had the IIIE it would be nice to have it. :)
HenryW was working on a new bare metal finish at one time (maybe further up in this thread?)
and there was an IAF in the mix. Don't know what became of those efforts.
:ernae:

Yeah, read about that now, didn't see anything about a IAF version though, only a similar request too mine. Oh well.

BTW Frank, I hate to be asking after seeing a lot of similar questions in the thread, but about your sight for the Mirage. Is there a chance for us normals to get it soon?:engel016:

A big THANK YOU Frank !
I've downloaded and tested it and it works beautifully !

Hi Frank

The AVSIM-link to the paint kit seems to be not working anymore. Any chance that the paint kit will be available again? I'm looking for the Mirage III RS (with canards) paint kit in particular.

Thanks,

Marc
Mark might have uploaded it initially. I'll check on it and put another one up there.

skyhawka4m, here is the link : http://www.skysim.co.uk/home.htm

When you go to their On-line-Store make sure you d/l the I.E. version. I had d/l'd another version that was up on their site and it took a day or so before they got me straight on which version us old U.S.A.'ers had to d/l. :salute:

The file is the same in both. There was a problem with IE downloads (or maybe it was Firefox, don't recall just now) coming down with no file extension (I think it was an exe originally). So they zipped it up for the alternate version. As long as you can get it to begin installing it is exactly the same aircraft. An awesome aircraft btw.

does anyone one know where this has gone,

my hard drive died and i need to re down load it ?

skysim dont have it, ALS dont have it either

Email me with the original purchase email address and then I can make the files available and generate new install keys.

Reinstalled 10 weeks back and posted screens off the many variants that come with without a problem . Not what you wanted to hear ... , Idea - one thing i found running the MilvizT-38 in real world weather early with ShadeX on the aircraft was transparent . This was dated about the same time ORBX NZSI was released and looking at different texture and lighting pattens , one area also included photoreal Christchurch which i place over the ORBX product testing the match . I was pushing limits .. Light /Cloud /Aircraft /Photoreal and Orbx .

Are you seeing it as an invisible or broken aircraft when you go to select it or in the game as well? If during aircraft selection you click on the "Details" button it will appear as if the outer skin is gone and all you can see are some of the inner components. This is due to the copy protection scheme being verified when the gauges are loaded. Looking at an aircraft via "Details" does not load any panel gauge information. If you select the aircraft and load it in the game it should display correctly -- it just did on my system.

If I recall correctly there was some issue with multiplayer flight but I think it only had to do with the external stores not showing. But it was a while ago and since there was no patch it would have to be addresed with the remake Mark has underway (for those involved, he is doing some side work for another developer so that is why there has been a delay).

If you are seeing the aircraft as skinless or broken up in the game and after a re-install it could be due to a significant change in your system. I'm not sure exactly how it worked, that's classified, but I do know from testing that installing it on a different system will break it -- literally/visually.

Hope this helps. If the problem presists please post a note in the ALS-SIM support forum.

Will this be available again any time soon, missed out when it first came out and would dearly love a Mirage for FSX
