No ..but I,m a fan of Swiss AF..This is the default texture, desaturated from green to grey and with very light photo accents.Tail is full blown photoreal. Changed registration and a
green experimental VC..

Woow, that looks pretty professional :applause:

Looking forward to some releases of your photoreal texture sets. By the way, the paint kit is available for download from avsim now.

Thx ! I hope this one fits in the ,,some " part , cause I,ve just uploaded it.:friday:

My first posting here.....being a forum lurker for a loooong time......

I just downloaded the Swiss repaint from Yago9. It's stunning !
Actually I didn't think it was possible to make improvements to the original package but I was wrong.

Since I'm writing I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this Mirage project, no one mentioned, no one forgotten.......:applause:

All of a sudden the Mirage turned an old man into a little boy again !

Welcome to the Outhouse hakan_olsson:ernae:

Hi Yago9, beautiful repaint ! But in your folder of the repaint, I don't have the modification of the Cockpit..that's normaly ? this cockpit are don't release now `?

I put together a stablemate for the EC 3/2 "Alsace" bird included among the default textures.
EC 1/2 "Cigognes" also operated the Mirage IIIE at Dijon-Longvic AB (LFSD).
Until they show up at avsim, etc., you can get them at my website below.

Ernest Laverdure aka myself is doing his best to overstress the airframe and see if it matches the performance of the trusty old III C

Thank you Frank !

SkySim Mirage III/5 is a superb product covering a large number of sub variants<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
of this elegant delta combat aircraft but not all of them.

Skysim already updated its Mirage once with some bonus models / repaints and
I am hoping that more models / repaints could eventually be added in future updates.

Mirage III/5 had a superb career on the international market and its construction
at Bordeaux Merignac was fully modular, giving customers the opportunity to
have almost unique sub variants.

I am quite certain that the Skysim Mirage is also quite modular and that my wish list
below for new models could eventually be done with not necessarly too much work.

I review my entire large reference library of books and magazine about the Mirage
and here are my findings compared to the actual Skysim offer of models and my own
wish list for new models by order of priority :

New Model Request 1.
Mirage IIIEA Argentina / Mirage IIIEL Lebanon / Mirage IIIEV Venezuela

These IIIE do not have the undernose Doppler bulge like the IIIO of Australia offered
By SkySim but contrary to the IIIO standard ‘’straight’’ fin type, they have the enlarged
base fin type.

These IIIE are superb subjects for spectacular and colorfull repaints and the
IIIEA of Argentine lived real combat during the Falkland ( Malvinas ) War.

New Model request 2.
Mirage 5P of Peru

These Mirage 5 have the pitot on tip nose type, like the Belgium 5BA but the
they have the enlarged base fin type.

Peruvian 5P’s have some interesting color scheme during their career including

1.
a Green/Grey camo with a large red/white/red fin flash covering one third of the fin
2.
a Sand/Brown camo operational scheme with more standard national markings
3.
the same Sand/Brown camo with the national markings of Argentina, the entire
Peruvian 5P fleet having been transfered to Argentina a few days before the
end of the Falkland War.

New Model Request 3.
Mirage 5PA of Pakistan

These Mirage 5 have the pitot undernose tip nose type and the straight fin type.

New Model request 4.
Mirage 5AD of Abu Dhabi

The 5AD are exactly the same model of the Belgium 5BA but without later added
‘’Carapace’’ Ecm/Eccm Large Housing at the aft base of the fin offered by Skysim
but unique to Belgian Airframes.

I am sure that our friends Frank and Jens-Ole that have been both directly involved in
the SkySim Mirage project can relay this info to Mark Harper.

The topic is open to discussion
