Skysim Mirage 3 out!

I put together a stablemate for the EC 3/2 "Alsace" bird included among the default textures.
EC 1/2 "Cigognes" also operated the Mirage IIIE at Dijon-Longvic AB (LFSD).
Until they show up at avsim, etc., you can get them at my website below.

"Cigognes" Squadron Markings.

The 70's and 80's were a very colorfull era for the "Armee de l'Air"

Here is some request from me to you concerning Mirage IIIR / RD
of the french "33ième Escadre de Reconnaissance" with other
famed squadron markings of "Belfort", "Savoie" and "Moselle"
Escadrons / Squadrons.

My favorite is "Moselle" 33-TO / 364 with the "Cocotte"
squadron marking.

Hi,

I'd like to say thanks for the recent update and bonus pack. I especially like the new RAAF display scheme. I've found that when I want to fly a fastjet, I keep choosing the Mirage over the Aerosoft F-16 or any other in my hangar. It is just a blast to fly!

Has the Mirage III gunsight shown in the screenshots posted by JensOle been released? If so where can I download it?

I've tried to access the skysim forum, but I keep getting a server error when I try to register.

Glad you're enjoying it. My personal favorite as well.

I haven't released the gunsight yet. Trying out a couple options with it first but xml is a learning curve still.

I had to get in the end..It,s a nice model indeed but a nightmare to do photoreal as I suspected...First and last attempt below..

What about this Swiss “Aggressor” scheme with Soviet star on the fin? it should be a quick job with your already superb Swiss photo textures.

Michael E. Fader told me the markings where applied for only one day as a squadron "joke" and only one one side of the plane. It The pilots liked it - but not the officials...lol

No, it,s just an experimental texture far for completion. I was curious to
see the potential for phototexture. It can look good but it,s very to hard
to make.Texture is broken in way to many pieces..At the moment I dont feel up to the challenge.It can change though.
She look very pretty with the default textures anyway and Jens did a great job with it also (seen below) . The more you fly this model the better it gets..:applause:

Your image shows a Mirage IIICJ, this model is not included in the skysim Mirage package. Only the Nesher/Mirage 5 model will be realistic for Israeli repaints. I have released 3 Nesher repaints from the early Yum Kippor war period.

I wont upload unfinished stuff but I wont give up either..It gets
easier with each practice texture I make. So I will probably nail one right but not for a while . I just got the model two days ago. Is there a paint kit available ? Thx!
