Airport Ground Traffic

Thought this was neat....

For those that fly in Russia and CIS countries (and whatever else is defined as region M apparently in FSX..need to look) you can download this file to replace your airport vehicle traffic with Russian airport vehicles!

http://avsimrus.com/f/fsx-ai-traffi...-fsx-region-m--12625.html?action=comments&hl=

Installation is pretty easy:
Add the Simobjects vehicles to the GroundVehicles folder within FSX.
Add the effects files to FSX.

Backup your existing LWcfg.spb file located here:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

And replace it with the file of the same name in the download.
I have not had time to try it yet, but it looks like a neat concept!

Here's some supplementary info for those that may want to add custom models to other regions:

EDIT: From my understanding, it'll only replace the airport ground traffic in that specific region, so you shouldn't have to worry about seeing Ural trucks and the like at JFK or something.

Suprunov's SCDS Yak-40 1.4 (scyakv14.zip @ flightsim + doomed ongoing FSX portover...)
St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport by Project ULLL (ulll.avsim.su) or here.

Bumping an old thread, because lots of high quality freeware russian airports are being released these days, and with some local ground traffic they look much better. The guy who made this ground traffic package has relased some updates here.

Nikita's Tu-144D and Iris' CRJ-200 in Sochi (by the same prolific RVV1973). This Sochi scenery is as nice as some FTX Alaska areas, the nearby mountains and rivers are really beautiful. For those who like a change of horizon once in a while.

Thanks so much for the thread bump! This is really, really, cool. I'll have to put it on my list of things to check out!
