Shafto, since we don't have the Redux or ETO expansion addons in this sim, you might want to post this to over in the CFS3 forum.

Also I have a problem with some aircraft stand alones where the virtual cockpit view doesn't show up. Any suggestions? Thanks for help.Shafto
That can happen when you're trying to fly aircraft which are AI-only. Did you read the read-me?
The usual convention with AI-only aircraft is to prefix the name which will appear in the menu with ~ or AI_, depending on who made them. These are NOT to be player-flown, and are usually accompanied in the install package by a version with a normal-style name which you should select to fly yourself.
Of course, there are other possibilities, but this is often what has happened.
