'62 Corvette...'

I've always thought the first generation Corvettes were the best looking ones.

Nice pics! I love Corvettes, and hope to one day pick one up from the factory...a bit of a pipe dream, but a guy can dream, right? I also like Stingray's, particularly a '73 Stingray in silver. View attachment 61873

Hey All,

Yeah If you have to be stuck with a corvette - 62 was the best year as it still had a trunk, could get a 4 speed, hardtop and a 300hp 327.

An edit: If you were trying to race those early corvettes you probably wanted to go home if you ran up against one of these.

Re: '62 Corvette

I've always been partial to the 63 split window myself. Even so Corvettes still have a very good family history. :salute:

I was only 8 or 9 years old back then. But now, in my advancung years, I'd have to go with the '63 Split-window Stingray. But, if it came down to a choice between it and a '62 Roadster, it would be REALLY close!
