Not sure exactly what happened across the road, but it brought in 7 Sheriff's deputies about a half hour ago. Kind of exciting view from my front porch for a little ol' country road...

Apparently no one was arrested which makes me wonder if my neighbor over there opened a donut shop or something...

The house across the street from me, when I lived in CA, turned out to be some sort of meth lab headquarters. Great! FBI, DEA, CHP, Kings County Sherrif, and Hanford police all showed up at the same time one morning, and with firepower. I didn't ask questions...

HEY!!! i "lived" in Hanford for an entire two weeks ....a friend of my dad had purchased a piece of property right across the street from the weather thing,near the airport...if i remember correctly it is a dopplar radar?...off turn 2 at the race track..and like i said..near the airport..there is a cotton plant behind it...the guy was a motorcycle importer...he would bring the bike by truck from the port of long beach to college city ca,which is near Dunnagan,north of woodland,,he bought this prperty in Hanford and hired a guy to haul the bikes from long beach to Hanford,assmble them in hanford,,then haul them to college city to be distrbuted to the dealers on the US west coast,at the time..i was doing better pyhsically and he wanted me on the property as a night watchman..but the guy who had the bike assembly shop thought with my back/spinal problems..i as a liability so he told to leave...he accually said.."get off my "f"in land"......then when the guy who hired me found out...he fired him and the entire operation fell apart...and Norm had to start over

Yep, there is a national weather service station for the San Joaquin Valley in Hanford. As you know, it's not the best place on Earth to live, but working at base at Lemoore, there are limited options... I remember this because the emergency broadcast system always broke into local TV and radio to say "The National Weather Service in Hanford California has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the following counties..." They don't do that here in Missouri, for some reason, and we actually have severe thunderstorms here!

Found out this morning, it was the neighbors 25 yr old son came in drunk and/or stoned made a scene with his underage girlfriend and then took off tires squalling up and down the road because she hid from him.
