Computer Pilot Magazine is hiring !

Francois

FS Veteran
Now that Computer Pilot Magazine changed hands, we're looking to get more people writing for us. So we're hiring contributors. If you're an ace in flight simulation, have something to tell or want to do in-depth reviews AND master English OR German as a writer (good grammar and spelling), then maybe you want to get in touch with us.

Of course you will NOT get rich of it, but we DO pay for the effort !

You can email me personally at francois@computerpilot.com and we'll take it from there !

Proud to say that I've been in discussions to write about the Project Tupolev Tu-154 for CPM.
(The draft is still in progress, Mr. Dumas! Murphy's Law, I commit to this, and then my schoolwork decides to crank up a notch!)

I understand that my opportunity to actually get published is still not a guarantee, but this message is kind of to inspire others too.
If you know a lot about a certain aircraft or FS aspect, give writing a shot. I'm sure CPM would appreciate the interest, and if you make the cut, great!

Since I dont know anything at all I could be a good beta tester for the educational articles !...naturally I would expect free issues to do my work . :) ....hope this works !

As a subscriber, I'd love to read about the more advanced scenery or aircraft creation techniques...stuff about expanding the base sim. FSX or Prepar3D, there is so much that can be done and many are doing it. If I knew more, I'd write about it, but scenery design is just a hobby for me. The subject has come up in so many emails. The information is out there, but so scattered that many get frustrated and give up without reaching first base. I've figured out how to do fair stuff, but going further involves a lot of research just to learn about the techniques and I'm too lazy to find it all :)

There are those who'd like to do things to expand the sim(s). There are those who do, but would like to go beyond the basics. Then there are those who are true artists. We need to hear from those artists so the aspiring amateur artists can improve their work. Of course, some of those techniques may be closely guarded secrets. Bill Womack might be a good author for this type of article, if he'd be willing to share.

I've also posted the call for writers in the FSDeveloper forums (and some other places) and lo and behold we already have over 15 people applying ! More than I'd ever dared dreaming of. Together with our existing base of writers, we're heading in the right direction to hopefully bring more diverse content in future!

And yes, I'd love to have more articles on design, as well as more articles on cockpit building.... and on the various other sims out there. We're working on it !
