Hello all,

I've had the BONE for quite sometime but I am just now starting to enjoy it. I saw someone on YOUTUBE dropping bombs. I would like to know how and is it enjoyable/workable? Can anyone help? Thanks.

They probably used Captain Sim's "Weapon" add-on. While not perfect, and doesn't have multiplayer capability, it works as advertised...Don
 
Cool. When you say not perfect, do you mean cheesy or something else? Can I put bombs on a target? Thanks for replying btw!

You can watch this video with CaptainSimWeapon to know how it works (destroyed simobjects only, and require PC high system)

 
Captainsim weapons is ok in the sense that you do destroy aircraft . I can't drop bombs with it, as I don't see how . The rockets are pretty impressive. Although it says it works with all aircraft, this is not true . Aircraft that use the fupic license won't work . To drop bombs, I would recommend weapons pack . Its freeware and you can get it at any download site .

He means the CS pack does not simulate dropping bombs, that part of the payware weapons package does not work as far as I'm aware, one has to change the bombs to work as rockets, although they will still drop as bombs, but you can not use the "bomb" mode. Leaving you with guns, air to air/ground missiles, and rockets.

The other option is to download the freeware FSX Weapons Pack and use the "save flight" technique to add drop-able objects to that file, reload the flight and you have bombs.

there is something on simvation which allows you to drop bombs ( it's free)

you save a flight and tack into the cfg of the saved flight and select bomb type and how many.

if you want I can find it for you.
