OMG they featured this on our 6pm news yesterday. Talk about pandering to the hype. Why do we celebrate the mundane and awful these days. It should be ignored and it would go away, flushed down the toilet of forgettable things. Instead these pathetic and talentless pretties get national, nay multi-national attention and simpletons think this is cool or that overused epithet AWESOME. Yuck yuck yuck.

I'm glad that my time as a recording studio engineer was way before the crappy autotune was invented. People had to be able to actually sing in key in those days (who'da thunk it!) otherwise it meant endless re-takes to get it right. I still miss those days of playing with multi-track audio tapes and 24-48 channel mixers.

I think it's deliberately done that way and it is really well produced. To assume they were trying to sing the very best they could I think is exactly the gottcha...

On a second thought (not a second replay, cause I couldn´t stand THAT!) this is pure Punkrock!!!! My hat off: kicking up a racket with absolutely no talent whatsoever and still getting "popular" with it.

I am certainly doing something wrong in my live, always watching my output-quality and never getting anywhere with all the work put into things...:kilroy:
