What a beautiful plane!(we need some propeller plane icons!)
Despite being away from CFS2 for a long time, I couldn't help but load it once more to see this beauty in flight.
I noticed a couple of problems, one of them easily solved. The first one is that the VC and pilot textures are in a format that CFS2 can't read. I just changed them to DXT1 and everything went fine. Another is that my plane explodes in Free Flight when starting ready to take off (flies OK though if I start already in flight.). Finally, the machine guns are not aligned with the cross-hair in the panel
I didn't test all versions, only copied one of them in my Mediterranean install (the one called IT_Fiat_CR42_Egeo_FALCO).
A million thanks to manuele, peperez and the B24 Guy.

Greetings from the CFS3 folks. I noticed the texture mapping for this model is nearly identical to the CR.42 we have and we have many of the same skins (but ours are 2048x2048) (I think they're both from the same source model). I was wondering who the painter was and if he has a 2048x2048 version of the Luftwaffe version as we currently don't have any Luftwaffe skins for this model and a larger texture would display way nicer in CFS3. I ask as many of the skins in this package are essentially 1024x1024 versions of the same skins we have in CFS3 with a few small parts mapped to different places. Thank in advance for any help.

About the exploding plane, is a scenery problem. I take off with the Egeo, that has more fuel than other versions, without problems. About the VC panel, you're right! I believed the black background was corrected for it, but it enhanced a lot with DXT1 format. I think you MUST upload your fix. It's allways my policy let the bug fixer upload the files.
...TO SC2500. Everytime I use AimIt I got an unusable DP and, invariable, a CTD. I think the best way is to edit DP manually...
Pepe' I'm beginning to think you and I have Polar Opposite Computer setups......

...Everybody used it at last five years without complains!...
Peperez,
Outstanding work to all involved, she's an absolute beaut to fly! :salute:
Peperez,
I made sure to delete the old aircraft when I approved the new. Thanks for the heads-up! :salute:
