If only dad were around to see this. We really loved that movie Murphy's War. Brilliant plane. They are MASSIVE in real life. I had a chance to see the MW plane at the Talmantz museum in Orange County when it was still around.

I don't know if there is a paint kit, but it would be killer if someone could dirty up the Mt Kyle model. From what I see in the movie, it's in sad shape.
 
I looked at the textures and because they are in dxt5 and have been re copied they are pretty ragged around the edges.If you just enlarge these textures they will much worse so to to enlarge them to 2048 textures would require complete repaint starting with 2048 or bigger. I have some work at the moment so maybe someone else would like to set up a rivet/panel line large base layer or texture in 32 bit.
 
I'm in the middle of making a paint kit as I go along with a repaint project. I'm resizing everything by doubling. I just noticed that the F bmp is mapped to both sides of the cowling. Perhaps an update can remedy this, as the F1 bmp is available.

FSX Grumman J2F Duck 2D Panel. A 4:3 ratio 2D panel created for SWingmans Grumman J2F Duck. There are two configurations. One has the normal compass and artificial horizon indicators, the other has Sperry Compass Heading Autopilot, Sperry AHI Pitch Autopilot and GPS. Both have new popup windows for the fuel gauges, pedestal, and radios. Included are some new gauges to allow mouse control of the battery, elec fuel pump, magnetos, engine primer, and starter in the virtual cockpit. The 2D instrumentation reflects the VC. My "FSX Grumman J2F Duck 2D Panel" was for the FS9 ported version, but, using it in FSX does work.

ok, i know this probably something dumb, but i'm not getting any sound. in the sound folder is only a sound cfg file. can someone tell me what i need to do please? i know there is a way to make it use the sound from another plane but i forget how to do it.
 
To Alias a sound to another plane:
Sound.cfg:
[fltsim]
alias=Plane Folder Name\Sound Folder Name

Mine is "alias=North American T-28D/Sound.PW-R2800x1"

That sound set is "FS2004/FSX Single P&W R2800 Sounds"{single_p_w_r2800_sounds.zip} at flightsim...Don
