Your ice hockey might have let you down, but Ryder Hesjedal became the first Canadian ever to win a Grand Tour just now and Ryder wears the Maglia Rosa (Pink Jersey) as the winner of the Giro d'Italia, the second largest Grand Tour bicycle race to the Tour de France. Kudos you pinkos.
