i want to get into some driving stuff,,id like to stay offline, single player,i have a wheel,break/gas/clutch,and a multiple gear shifter...cant think of the brand, but its brand new and not been used...its in my closet...im looking at dirt 3,and a sprint car racing one,its 9.95,looks to be pretty much like the old ratbag one but has modifieds and midgets...

i will look at anything....but im scared of online..BUT i did get upgraded to 6.0kbs or whatever..its fast

Likewise, I used to like GP4 but very dated now, Had R factor but could never get into it. Recently tried to reinstall it and the registration would not be recognised for some reason so I gave up.
I'll be monitoring this thread.

Plenty to choose from!: GTR Evolution/Race On!, rFactor 1&2, Project C.a.r.s., Dirt 2/3, Need for speed shift 1/2, iRacing, Netkar Pro, F1-2011, WRC 2010,...

I guess it all depends on what your computer can handle, the amount of realism you desire, the type of cars and racing you like and your budget!

Here are a couple of freebies that I mess with once in a while. Do a google search on "BMW M3 Challenge" and you'll get to the BMW site that has the download. Or go to www.lfs.net and download the no-cost version ---- I believe it is known as LFS 2 on the site. I have a third which is a NASCAR type but got from my son and am not sure at the moment if there is still a download site.

I use both with CH yolk and rudder pedals and they work fine.

Well Dave, for NASCAR sims and offline racing, I was going to suggest NASCAR 2003. They are still making mods for it today, oldest season to run is 1963, no seasons then until 1970. From there they have several seasons from the 1980's and 1990's plus right up to 2012.
They have mods for dirt racing, arca, the trucks and nationwide.

Problem is trying to find a copy at a reasonable price. On Amazon, used sell from $80.00 on up , a new copy goes for $224.00!:isadizzy:

I'll look around and see if it can be had for a lot less!

wow..i have a EA sports nascar sim...2 of them acculy..just not sure of the years...ill look
