Need a carrier for Dinos F-35

Its been a long time since I did any carrier stuff in FSX . I tried AI carriers way back then with no joy getting it to work (in window 7 I think). I had a carrier (don't remember who or where I got it from ) but it could be placed where I wanted it . Is there a new version of AI carriers or something . Prefer freeware if all posible .

My choices would be either the freeware Javier Fernandez's USS Nimitz or the now-freeware LHA-5 Landing ship.

AI Carriers itself doesn't include any carriers. It is a placement tool. But it does come with the files necessary to place the default FSX carriers files where you want them.

If you want a free carrier with other modern aircraft onboard I would suggest Javier's Nimitz.

If you want some thing newer and better (IMHO) try the new payware Enterprise.

Thanks for the info . I did (shocked )get AI carriers to work . Its just setting there but its a start .I will defiantly check out the others . Thank you again .

Install Javier's carriers and CarrierTracks1and2 which can be found somewhere on SOH and you will have carriers moving at different locations. I catch the Nimitz leaving at 08:00 every day out of San Diego.

For the B version like already said you can get the LHA-5 by AJ Weber freeware* but static only will not work with Aicarrier. Unless someone found a way to make it work.

How is it better? I'm just curious I've only got the freeware nimitz and it's superb...

It also plays well with AI Carriers, you can have the Nimitz on it's track and then have another boat operating in the vicinity, was running a VERTREP with the Virtavia CH-46, loads of fun working two moving boats about 5 miles apart. I'm tweeking entries for AI Carriers with additional boats, when ready I will post them on the RAZBAM Flight Clubs site and if there is interest here as well.
