Dart Kitten II released (freeware 11 Aug 12)

usually I'm not into stuff like this and the previous release....but I have to say that you texture work just makes these pieces of art. The burning you do is amazing! Ty for this addition. :salute:

This might sound strange but it looks like the Piper Cub gave birth to this Dark Kitten of the second :mix-smi: The nose reminds me of the Piper Cub's, this is a fantastic contraption you made here I will certainly add it to my collection :salute:

I have downloaded it and installed it into both FSX and P3D. Results?

Good news: Works great in FSX.

Bad news: Causes P3d to have a fatal error when loading.

As I no longer fly FSX on a regular basis this aircraft will stay in the hangar until a P3D version becomes available.

This is very strange as It was built using the Prepar3d SDK as I don't fly in FSX anymore. I had the same problem with my Taube, I found If you set the water detail to none within P3D It will no longer crash.

I will bring this to Lockheed Martin's attention as I have followed the SDK and can't find anything wrong with the model e.g. all object scales have been reset and textures are .dds format.

If anyone else has a idea of what it could be please let me know...

I will try it again. May have been something with the airport I was using.

A really lovely model Craig! But as you most probably know I'm also looking forward to an other model which "just needs to be textured" :icon_lol:

Cheers,
Huub

What a great, gentle, fun plane this is! You have outdone yourself again Craig.

Its nice to have a plane that is fun to land, that comes down gently and touches the ground nicely almost every time.

Thanks also for the cool gauges and the notes on airspeeds for flying this unique little craft.

You should get an award for this.
