Did anybody a proper conversion of Sanderson's Hurricane collection?

I've been trying, but my airplanes get stuck in the ground like belly-landed....

Any help is welcome.

Greetings to all of you from France, I'm in holidays, and plenty (too much) sun and heat

Hey guys,

While Sander'son's Hurricanes are visually pleasing and nice eye candy, they are not multi-lod, and framerates will suffer accordingly. In addition, .dp and other modifications would need to be made. In this case, because CFS2-ready models (Thicko and AH_Freeware) are so readily available, it makes little sense to reinvent the wheel here.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, just save you some unnecessary work.

u right Rami , any way , i´ll would like to know how to add a lods to many wonderfull planes that they are not multi lod. i was trying without result . but must be a way, i know it!

Misson

Look for Roberts John´s Nº 2 CFS2 Magazine in http://thefreeflightsite.com/CFS2_Magazine.htm . It has an article about "* Adding LODs to a model"

I hope here you find what you need.

Cheers, Discus
i knew about that technique but when i did some try , i lost important quality of that high res model without compile the entire plane (i have some problem in the sdk program into gmax program).to make some proovs ,takes a lot of time and u don´t know if u are going in right way. I thought by scasm is more easy. My idea is to take a lod from some multilod plane and past it in the new model and recompile it . (offcourse is more easy say it than to do it)

That's one of my favorite FS 9 planes for touring around the Empire. Its detail (including the VC) is just stunning. If you ever convert it, I'd love to fly it in CFS 2. With some hand editing of missions it would be easy to fly it as the player aircraft and use our other nice Hurricanes designed for CFS 2 as the AI to keep the frame rates reasonable.
