'Danica's Race Ruined By Shoe-Throwing Fan'

While I'm not a Danica fan, the unsportsmanlike conduct of a Montreal spectator today was totally uncalled for. Danica had been leading for about 25 laps when a spectator threw a shoe out on to the track. Danica couldn't avoid it and thus she ran over it subsequently knocking out a rear spring rubber. Her car was never the same after that.
 
That was strange. There wasen't any seating near that spot I could see. Looked like a high heel shoe that came flying out of the trees and brush.

Looked like a tennis shoe to me. Real bummer for Danica.

Why no congratulations to Justin Allgaier for flat outdriving both Hornish and Villeneuve? And Piquet Jr finally wins in a truck after 42 races even though he drives for a powerhouse team (Turner Motorsports) running Hendrick engines. What took him so long? You might also note that Allgaier drives for Turner Motorsports as well - they are a power in both trucks and nationwide. So a good weekend for Turner.

terrible behavior by a so called "fan" hope the offender can be found and severly punished.
