Day two of my viewing this absolutely gorgeous craft. The screens just keep getting better and better.
Before I know it I'll succumb to having severe with-drawls that reflect back on my early-er R/C scale days.
That thing is sure a looker. I LIKE IT!!! :icon_lol:

I wish it had the old style panel and instruments otherwise it looks great. Is there any system management at all or can you fly without consequence?

I guess some folks (EDIT: But NOT TeiscoDelRay) are still confused about this modern aircraft... :isadizzy::icon_lol:

In March 1986, the first WACO YMF Classic rolled off the assembly line and received FAA certification under the original WACO type certificate. With more than 5000 labor hours of fine craftsmanship hand-built into each aircraft, it’s no wonder the WACO YMF was hailed as an aeronautic thoroughbred. This unique biplane was not a rebuild or a kit plane, but a brand new FAA certified production aircraft, with such improvements as the use of sturdy 4130 steel for the fuselage frame, modern hydraulic toe brakes, and advanced avionics.

Not at all confused buddy, just wish it was an older version with old style cockpit. I was at Oshgosh when they first brought this out so I know what it is.

now THAT had to be a fun day...

and I agree - a 'retro' cockpit version would have been welcome...

I am on DX10 with Steve Parsons' amazing shaders patch. No problems with this gorgeous Waco but for the radios texture when cockpit/instruments lighting is turned on.

Anybody on DX10 without the shaders patch and not having this texture problem ?.....

Thanks !

for the Flyers who have the Waco come fly with me online some time Waco!! group flight TS3 ip is ts3.digitalthemepark.com game ip is located on The TS3 channel

I see that one of the system requirements listed at Alabeo is Windows Vista or Windows 7 for this model.

I have Windows XP Pro on my FSX Acceleration install. Anybody using that operating system to fly this bird ??

That's fine. I got to sit in one of the first ones delivered at a local Fly-In in the late 80's myself. :jump:
Sorry, but your previous comment was rather vague at wanting a vintage version of a Waco instead? Like a UPF instead, right?
I wouldn't mind a FSX native 'Golden Era' QF2 version Waco myself. :salute:

However, there still seems to be a misunderstanding among a few that the Alabeo created YMF is wrong for having a modern cockpit.
It's not. That's the point.
Yes, I do think that point has to be made.
And yes, in fact they do come with available with glass cockpits these days, folks.

This is a wonderfully crafted addon of a modern made biplane.
It truly is what one is.
And a seriously fun one at that. :icon_lol:

Problem with my stick or the aircraft?

Pulling back on the stick about 25% results in full deflection of the elevator. Pushing forward results in gradual deflection of the elevator like normal.

Could somebody check this out for me ingame?

Thanks!
