The cause could be located in the sound.cfg file or the panel.cfg file. They may be aliased to something, and the something must exist in your computer. To correct it you just have to change to a sound or panel file you have. Also sometimes the extension of the aircraft.cfg is wrong (.cgf).
I hope this can help.:iidea:

P-38G

Hi John,

I have searched my archives and I have found this very plane as part of the Triple-Play. I don't know if there are different versions but the sound and panel of my version are aliased to a "P-38F_Lightning" which should be in the AIRCRAFT-folder (and ment is obviously the stock Lightning). But the stock Lightning is written P38F_Lightning and unless you delete the hyphen in the panel and sound cfgs your G-model will not show at all. Alternatively you install dedicated panel and sound folders.

That is one possible reason for not showing up but there may be more

Cheers

Achim

First thing to check: Have you looked the sound folder CFG? Open it in a text editor. May be it is aliased to the sound of some airplane that you don´t have.

Hi John,

I have just rechecked. You need to install the "P-38F_Lighting" of the Triple-Play-package as well. The sound and panel cfg' of the P-38G_Lightning are aliased to that model. The P-38F_Lightning has a dedicated a panel and sound.

Cheers
