Edgley Optica now released! (21.December)

Thank you very much.

I am not positive but it appears the light switches may be backward from the other awitches.

Tom

. . . . .Can anyone else confirm this?.....
Actually, it's the "Avionics" switch that's opposite of all the others....all switches flip "up" for ON....the Avionics switch flips "down" for ON.:salute:

Sorry; forgot to add the Fuel Pump switch which also must be flipped "up" to the off position, rather than down as normal.

Ok guys I've made some fix's including

1. Landing gear retraction issue (posted earlier)
2. The "S" is now the right way around :)
3. Added a carrot to the attitude indicator
4. Increased glass reflectivity
5. Edited animation of throttle and mixture controls

Anyone downloading the Optica from this post on will not need to download the fix ZIP, but for those who have here are the update's...

Many thanks for the comments and suggestions.

Thank you... seriously!

Just a small thing, I was adding a custom autopilot to and noticed a small deficiency with the panel.cfg nothing big but,

to get the pop windows to show you need to add above the window01=GPS

[Window Titles]

am loving this, is there going to be a paint kit, otherwise again no biggie as you can use the white textures

How frustrating must that be... to seat in a copter that cannot even takeoff vertically... :icon_lol:
Fantastic exterior model, as always.
This ambiant occlusion effect integrated in these textures is really neat. :ernae:

Re; Amb. Occ., outstanding !:salute:

I change a little view for TiR users and panorama (now if You look left Your head enter "in door" a little).
With this modifications view doesnt be center with stick (like on screen, but no this problem if You look left). Aircraft.cfg:

[Views]
eyepoint=4.29, -1.32, 1.33

yes, i changed the original viewpoint to center on the stick and chair. really, it needed to be centered and moved forward with the amount of zoom being reduced, but i dont know how to change the zoom factor.. even zoom level 0.90 would take your head out of the door. I just dont know how..

Don't touch left to right, you don't accomplish anything except throw off your center. I also use trackIR and simply changed the first set of numbers from 4.29 to 4.69 which moves you forward so that you're sitting "in" the seat rather than sitting "inside" the seat if you get my meaning. This allows you to look left and back and see the entire interior and also allows you to look outside and back to view the gear and wing area.

Disclaimer: This works for me, works perfectly actually. . .That does not necessarily mean it will work perfectly for you, however I still believe that the proper view can be accomplished by changing the first numbers and no others.
