Missing SOH data?

Numerous times while searching the net I have found a link back to SOH. Once clicked and expecting to read something here on the forums, I get this page. http://filestore72.info/download.php?id=172f01a6

Is this due to a past server crash?
Nope!

It's due to 'Highjack a Link' and 'Search Engines', a developing form of hacking.

I would first Log-out at SOH, note all my passwords and logins, next clear all Internet caches/cookies, then run on-line virus scan. Some of these highjackers can be attached to cookies in order to miss direct some of your links. Last log back in at SOH and everywhere else you have accounts.

or

Do all the above but do not clear the cookies, that's if you have accounts you don't remember the username/password or want to avoid the hassle.

Cookies deleted and a reboot.
My getting a redirect is entirely possible. I've been rummaging all over on the net hunting resource materials.

Hey Ickie, just for info thats' the same redirect as I'm still getting... (see here ---> http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?75088-SOH-hijack-attempt-again) I done the F-Secure scan, all good, and also reloaded latest Java update as suggested by SOH Developer, also cleared out temp internet files too.

Thanks

Pete

Righto then, that explains it, thanks.

Not being terribly 'net savvy' is the problem at the search engine local (to UK) server?
'cos I haven't tried a different search engine yet, usually use Google, quick and mostly reliable over here!

I suspect that, although only two have raised the issue, many more are seeing it. Me, for example.

Given that there have been four threads started about this since January 21, each with hundreds of views, I expect that the problem is more widespread than it may appear.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers, just sayin'.....

In my case, it's a script intrusion. After adjusting my script blocker it has since not bothered me again. POOF :pop4:
