We've got a new student pilot coming out of KCRQ!!!

Going up for my first flight next saturday in a C152!

got my ground school kit today, plus a few essentials all from king schooling.

hold on to your hats gentlemen, this devildog is about to get his wings!

Congratulations and good luck! That first time at the controls sticks with you forever...almost as much as your first solo. You'll be walking on air for days afterwards.

Submitting a NOTAM now for anyone in the general area. Congrats, stick with it and use the "internets", loads of helpful info out.

I'll give you a dollar if on your first landing at Palomar you don't think "the runway was flat in Flight Simulator, what happen?"... :salute:

You beat me to it! Flat it is not. :icon_lol:
If you do not already have it I would highly recommend that you get the SoCal Megescenery add-on. It is a great tool for getting familiar with the areas you are going to be flying around. Congrats on taking the plunge! :applause:

Don't try any of that USMC close air support stuff! Learn to fly first! :icon_lol: Enjoy your training and stay safe. :salute:
