• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

following Rami's tutorial on setting up an ETO install I was downloading the 18 LOD7 parts of the DEM Mesh scenery last night. Halfway through, I ran into an obstacle... a message: "You do not have sufficient download allowances available at the moment
Allowances: 4000 files/34 used, 1.46 Gbytes/1.57 Gbytes used, 2.93 Gbytes uploads/44.49 Mbytes uploaded" . This tells me there is a daily limit to downloads here at SOH despite the fact that I'm a charter member. Is this true and when will my "total" reset so I can continue downloading and installing? I'm eager to get back to it. :kilroy:

When was the last time you cleaned out your cookies?

You need to wait tell you get reset then log out of SOH and logback in and you should be fine.

Ickie did a server reboot this morning and optimized the scripts, please see if the problem has been fixed, and let me know!
 
Now it is a problem

I currently am at my office and using a different IP (probably) I finished downloading the first package - a download in 18 parts - the last 9 parts. I finished downloading the first 10 parts of 22 for the next package and ran into the same message on the 11th part. I will try to get the last 11 parts when I get home and my IP changes again. In short, Rami - I don't know if the issue is resolved at all. It doesn't seem to be.

The problem seems to be IP related. Yesterday here at my DAV office, I downloaded files until it jammed up. When I went home that afternoon, (different IP) I was able to download the rest of the packs that I needed... no trouble. Returning to the office this AM The ability to D/L was still blocked from the day before. Two different IP's and two different abilities. BTW: I tried one of the office computers - same IP and was refused the download. Any of the administrators know what the bandwidth limit is? PS: Here at the office, 24 hours have come and gone and I'm still locked out.

After a full weekend and a few days have passed, I tried here at the office to download Achim's Northern France scenery pack and I got the same familiar message: "You do not have sufficient download allowances available at the moment
Allowances: 8000 files/49 used, 2.44 Gbytes/2.44 Gbytes used, 2.93 Gbytes uploads/44.49 Mbytes uploaded" Apparently the que only resets when Ickie does it manually. :icon34:

I don't know if this means anything or not but I got this message when I tried to download a certain item from SOH when I forgot to log in to SOH before I attempted the download.

You do not have sufficient download allowances available at the moment
Allowances: 0 files/2 used, 0 bytes/1.05 Mbytes used, 0 bytes uploads/0 bytes uploaded
 
I'm at the office, fully logged in and got the same message again today! Yesterday, when I didn't have a problem, I downloaded nothing from here! What the devil is going on??
