I'm gonna fire off a E-mail to the developer and see if he might want to assist me in Getting McCalla Field on the windward side. I have the ground work files, and that will put McCalla back into action around her opening to 1970 state under the USCG with Fisherman's Point where the USCG/USN Goats and Ducks parked historically.

All in all nice scenery however, notice in the attached photo some of the buildings are a bit off the ground and the planes spotted in front of the hangers..

There is a fix a couple threads up (http://fsxceneryfag.blogspot.com/) that corrects elevation and buildings .

While it's still fairly modern for those of us who would like to see a 60's era Gitmo, this is indeed a nice scenery pack. To make it more like the miliatary NAS, I've deleted the all the static civie car and GA aircraft bgls - "coches, carros, aviones," etc. To back date it further, you could take out all the "barcos" and "helicoptero" and such bgls (it helps that I know Spanish, but even those who don't can figure it out) and the carrier group and Blackhawk helos go away too.

With an updated AFCAFD, and the addition of some AI - Fernandez' Phantoms and the old Alphasim A-4s come to mind - one could turn this into more of a military-focused addon easily - pairs nicely with Roosevelt Roads NAS for some Carribean naval flying.

Regardless - great job to the authors - a very nice addon.

Yep I broke out the IS gun and executed the GA and Civie stuff plus those blackhawks. I did find some Denver hanger objects by Jim and sub in and then ran Samm and made some static USCG AC to pair with Jim's KNQX Jarhead's. One must know about GTMO, the USMC and USCG at current form the AVDET combined. The navy runs the base we think??lololol.

We sure do think alike! Have USN/USMC/MATS AI circa late 50's early 60's flying between these NAS's and also out to the AS Big E off TJNR. I personally have never "got" photo real scenery. Looks to my eye like amateur water colors and a step back into FS8/9, but to each his own. Have used Jim Cook's MUGM scenery to good effect there with good frames and backdrop for the period look.
