Thrift Store Find

A couple of days ago, I was in a little thrift store here in town....and bought what was labeled as a "WWII Ship Builders War Service Button" for $12.99. Turns out, the service medal is actually from WWI. Here's a pic of one like mine....stole the pic from the internet...not my pic...using it without permission....I know...I am a BAD man.

The button I bought is a lot less pretty....very grimy, lots of patina, looks like it has been kept in the bottom of a bacon grease can for half a century...and that is how it is going to stay....not going to clean it at all.

You should take it to action auction on PBS TV or Pawn Stars and get it appraised ! :icon_lol:
