is there a YAK-18T ,native FSX yet?....its such a neat airplane i sure hope there is....i had one for FS9, but ive never tried to do the "portover" and even if i did,i wouldnt know how to fix the glass or prop if it has those...and i dont know where to find the original files anyway?...

Falcon, the Yak-18T is quite a different aicraft, it's a four-seater for instance! There is a very nice Fs9 model somewhere, no idea if it would work in FsX though..

Dave: If you are looking for an aircraft, there are three threads stickied above: One for freeware, one for payware and one for aircraft in development. These lists are very complete and a good starting point if you are looking for any fsx model.

yes i looked through those lists..didnt see the 18T..and yes i am refering to the 4 seat tri-gear plane..not the tandam seat tail dragger....

ill search the lists again i guess....

Davem, your link didn't give me anything but a page saying the search had not rendered any files.. . .after simply typing in Yak 18T I got an entire page of them. . .

No they aren't FSX, however there is a file on this page that fixes the glass issue for the portover crowd. This is probably what you will have to work with Daveroo unless some clandestine developer is out there in a barn somewhere busily bending poly's on a secret Yak 18T.

Ed, it seems that any link to an Fsim archive shows no results when another person clicks the links...

Yea, it's kind of a bother. Try logging on to Flightsim.com first, then copy and paste the link.

There is a rework of the same Yak-18T on AVSIM.ru. It's a port-over for FSX. I believe it has a battery issue. Not sure what other issues it has. It would be nice to have a native FSX version, but that is beyond my capabilities at this time.

i found and downloaded all the files for it from flightsim ,ill give those a try first..there are 4 files..the original and then two updates and then a "fix"..and ill go from there..thanks guys
