I went ahead and bought the B-2 and U-2, they're pretty good for the price. Only problem is that the U-2 still refuses to climb above FL560 at just about any gross weight. Anyone know how to go about getting replacement .air files for this thing? The original release didn't have this problem, apparently.

I have no idea if it will work, but maybe try replacing it with Alphasims old Fs9 U-2S which is now freeware..?
kw is pretty good, be sure to get the HTR profile. using a modified profile, hover attitude is fixed and it performs well. vc mods can be made as well (over at hovercontrol).

I am loving this black stealth MA60. Dang....! Did some practice flights, ran a dummy sorti from Edwards to Palmdale over the terrain below radar, just under 200 knots. 200 seems to set off overspeed, so kept it under that.
I did have to redo the settings on the 'helo' section; 200, 200, 100.
Brilliant model. Nicely detailed. I have alot to learn on it.
I also picked up the Galaxy and Super Galaxy. Someday in my spare time, I'll be checking those out. Great huge birds. Ive wanted them for quite a while now.

I just bought and downloaded the UH-1Y and get this notice when I try to load: "This file contains invalid data". Did you have any problems with the Venom load?
Okay, after the fifth download try I got a valid file. Loaded fine.

aside from using the htr profile, the aircraft.cfg has to be modified (to reflect kw's weight/fuel capacity), which is at the tail end of this post.
These are the type addons which back in the day had me buying almost everything Alphasim put out. Nice looking externals,a vr pit that had the proper dimensions and basic instrumentation layout.They were easy to hop in and go.The best part is you could crank your graphics way up,pretend to be in a "add cool jet of choice here" and get good Fsx performance.
I especially liked the black jets,U2,Sr71 and all the cold war era aircraft.
Would I like the B2 to have better avionics and more pit detailing,yes! But just hopping in a billion $ flying wing and having my aging computer stay locked on 25fpm reminds me of the old days.
Oh yeah for 10 bucks does not hurt either.

If someone can point me to a tutorial of how to add a basic FSX autopilot pop up I would appreciate it.
Ive edited Gps into alot of planes but never a ap. The B2 is so frustrating with the most clunky avionics ever. One panel is not illuminated at night so it turns into a mouse hunt trying to find the spots.Setting the nav radios with Track ir on,or off, is about as fun as a root canal. 2 billion $ jet with Radio shack avionics.

got lucky amd with just 2 lines added the default 737 ap.Now I got everything I need in one small box.Still have to screw around with the radio freqs but this is 100% improved.

I also rushed on the Area51's site and almost bought C-17 when I noticed that there was no reduction of price! Cancelled. So a new thread for every sale message please. Sales usually don't last for ever. Wrong headers mislead people. By the way the normal price of C-17 on the FSpilotShop store site is $30 when on Area51's own site it is only $20!
