T-28D Trojan released. payware

Anthony,

Like everyone else, I am very impressed with the T-28. Well Done.

One question, sorry if its already been asked and answered. Am I correct that there are no force feedback settings? I don't see any and the ground bumps are very overdone with my Logitech G-940.

Hi Glenn

Sorry but you are right, it should be possible to copy the force feedback settings from another aircraft into the aircraft.cfg and edit them if necessary.

Now Randy, my post was polite and to the point. This thread is about the evolution of Ant's T-28D and spurious posts were making it difficult to find the wheat from the chaff as reported to me by an interested party. Your reply was not polite and you may do as you wish regarding your posting at this forum but I would suggest that you respond as you might to any policeman simply doing his duty.

Now let's on with the thread on topic, please.

I too think you've waaay overstepped the mark Roger. It's a real shame whats happening here. It use to a real friendly and cool place to hang out.

So you don't think Randy overreacted? I've been here since 2000 so I'm nothing new Dougal and in my opinion and several others it was rude to hijack Ant's thread, so if you don't like it Dougal you know what to do.

John, which water settings do you use?
Thank you.
Michael

Hey Mike,

The 'water' I have is just default textures set at high settings, though what you see most of in my shots around Caloundra is the photo scenery water with the FSX waves animations.

I did that but it's too much of an all or nothing thing. I was able to tone it down to tolerable with Accufeel. Good enough.

The Demo labels are more than a bit inconven.

No question this is a great model and I would have bought it if I hadn't seen the early recommendation to try it as a demo first. The DEMO sign is in big block letters in front and sides of the canopy which ruins the flight for me. I recommend buying the complete plane, Ant doesn't disappoint.

Using CTRL+E to start the engine will not go through the full start procedure (it just was too hard to stop FSX from going through its own autostart routine).

The best way to get the Autostart with custom animations is to right click on the starter button or use a key command for "Starter 1". Either of these methods should work.

It was my mistake, when I watched the video I missed the right click instead of the left click.

Ant's T-28 is Superb!

(I've been recovering from mouth surgery, so just now catching up on Ant's T-28D.) I felt good enough yesterday to acquire Ant's T-28D and install it. I picked it up at FS Pilot Shop (along with a 50% off A-4...couldn't resist) and had no install issues. I was too taxed after all that work, but finally took my first flight in the T-28D this morning. Good looking, excellent flight dynamics and rock solid in the groove. Thanks Ant for a great addition to the FSX galaxy!

... so if you don't like it Dougal you know what to do.

Mmmm..... just what I was talking about, and if that's not over reacting, I don't know what is;-)

You might want to think about what your sig says Roger;-)

Still no news of the update to V1.1 from fs pilot shop, any idea what is holding them up?

I thought the same thing but was advised on another Forum that it is available as a re-download. Go to your account and you will see it dated 11 May 13. The filename is ANT-115.zip but when you unzip it it is AntsT28DV110.exe. They don't do like the other retailers and send an e-mail that there is an update. Bob.

If I were you I'd pm rdaniell and see what he thinks about your post. Chances are he'll tell you to move on and stop criticising staff for doing their job. If you don't like it then you know what to do...for now that choice is yours...
