• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I've tried this years ago in Fs8, lets see if I can recreate it in FsX...:

Didn't land it there, I don't think that would work, so I flew a helicopter in and switched to the C-17. 20% fuel load, no cargo and only the two pilots on board.

Wing clearance might be a problem:

Full throttle, release the brakes, fortunately it didn't register a crash with either the parked aircraft or the tower, nearly scraped the tail on the deck after leaving the carrier, almost got my wheels wet, but:

:icon_lol:

Amazing! Especially seeing that the carrier was stationary.

Now the Navy guys will be bashing you for calling it the tower!:icon_lol:

It's called the "Island".

Yes, I had stopped the carrier to save the flight with an aircraft on deck and forgot to get it moving again. The extra 20 knots would have made it a bit easier.
