Search for:

virtavia_martin_mars_tta_o_v2.0.zip

If you are having issues with avsim's library search engine in finding the zip file as noted above, try typing in the following words in the "quick search" box:

martin mars

That should bring up all of the Martin Mars repaints.

Great!

As I mentioned in the original post above:

That should bring up all of the Martin Mars repaints.

There's a bunch of them in Avsim's FSX Library.

Looks really good. I'm debating buying the Mars - your repaint may have just swayed my decision :icon_lol:

Does the plane come with a paint-kit or is one available elsewhere?

Cheers

When I originally bought the Martin Mars (many many years ago in 2006?) I was able to download a layered PSD paint kit separately from their old site.

I just checked; it's still available as freeware:

Check the following link for Virtavia_Martin_Mars_Paintkit.zip

I should note that I have on-going issues aligning lines / items along the length of the fuselage where the texture breaks occur. The solution to this issue is to increase the default 1024 texture sizes to 2048. I have chosen not to do this on my part with my repaints as my computer / photoshop software seems to choke on texture sizes beyond 1024.
