If you are going to be doing some VC remodeling in the future, any hope for a VC with more modern radios for those of use who fly in the modern world?

I'd settle for a 2D popup of the old military style radios instead of the "radio card". I like the immersion factor of looking over and spinning the dials or turning the coffee grinder of the ADF.

Can some of you gauge whizs out there gin up a little 2D radio popup?

The RPM uses the usual FSX controls (I don't do any hocus pocus trickery on that) so that shouldn't be anything to worry about.

I've found this forum post about pfc and fsuipc with the NGX. I suggest you read through this Tom as it might give you some ideas:

I just tried using Throttle1 on my Saitek X52 Pro joystick and was able to get the full -16000 to +16000 range.

I think the issue is that the PFC is using values less than 0 to do reverse thrust

I'd also try checking your FSX Settings - Controls - Control Axes. If you have a throttle axis setup here then it may be that the PFC is sending information direct to FSX (and therefore bypassing the FSUIPC recalibration). If you make sure that none of the throttle axis for your PFC are set here then FSUIPC recalibration should work.

Since a gauge whiz didn't respond, I've cobbled up a crude, but compact rendition of a military radio panel from the www.virtavia.com/Freeware/ALPHA_AH-1W_Super_Cobra_FSX.zip. (not a bad little helo in it's own right)

You know the drill. Copy the Alpha_AH-1W.cab to your FSX "gauges" folder.

Make a copy of your panel.cfg for backup. Then paste the following into your original panel.cfg:

Oh my god...

...I was late getting to the party on Ant's T-28....simply SUPERB is all I can say. This makes a beautiful companion to the MilViz F-86, and will do likewise when MilViz comes out with their F-100D and T-33A. This airplane is beautiful...and flies like a dream. Good job, Tony!!!
