Molyneds Shagbat is out, but has been having some problems in FSX. I did some preliminary contact point work, did not even try the original, too many folks had come a cropper already. The first thing that leapt out at me was the MOI looked way off, so re ran the numbers, looked at the model (GofG, static height ect ) pounded out some contact points that looked about right, and it seems to work well indeed. Lands afloat, takes off fine. The water rudder is totally ineffective, so that needs work. Ground steering is ineffective, so added differential brakes to help that along. Still needs work, as she seems a bit over gunned performance wise, but it goes very well in FSX now. I think. Its only been on my computer, I have no idea how it will behave out in the real world, so lets find out. Did not take any screens, sorry, and I am using the OzX Goose effects, so if you do not have the HD Goose in, you will need to change effects. Its another lovely model from the Britsim crew, subject to FS9 port issues-prop cloud, though not very pronounced. I like it a lot, though I do hope Rob dusts off his native project in the future!
