FSX Scenery for Astoria, Oregon. Airport ID: KAST. Contributed to Hovercontrol by Tommy Vestal Litterbug.

EDIT: It looks like if you already have PNW installed you DON"T need this. I installed this scenery and using the PNW FTX Central scenery manager loaded the default
scenery, and the pictures you see below are the result. Now, When I removed this scenery and changed back to PNW scenery I got the SAME
looking scenery. SO apparently this scenery looks the same whether you have PMW installed or not.

The PNW version of Astoria is over-riding this, you'll need to put it above PNW in the scenery libarary

Let me re explain this.

View attachment 90579 If I select default FSX and THEN install the astoria scenery and activate it, You will see the scenery as per pictures I attached. If I deactivate/remove
the scenery and go back into FSX then astoria looks pretty bland - not all the eye candy as per my pictures. Now, with that scenery still removed
and utilizing the FTX central and click North America (remember, I took out the add on Astoria scenery) and load FSX and select Astoria, I get the
same looking scenery as the add on I just removed ergo, they look the same. It's as though PNW had the same looking scenery as the addon.

PNW instructions state that if you add a non PNW scenery to use the FTX central and make sure that you have the default FSX scenery BEFORE you activate
any non PNW scenery. I did and you saw the pictures in my post of the Astoria scenery. I did not have PNW cranked in via FTX central or in other words,
I did not select "North America" using FTX central. That is where I am flummoxed, was is a coincidence that the author designed scenery that was the same
as what PNW rendered? Hummm.....:isadizzy: Could it be that this Astoria addon was a PNW scenery in the first place? It looks like the file came out a few years
before PNW was released.
