Al,

I figured I'd start off with your 75th. I caught up with the Nell as she was circling Port Moresby, coming back over the airfield complex. :wavey:

Al,

Here is another one...I managed to bag several Nells leading the Airacobras before 'dem pesky Zeroes flamed my arse! :mixedsmi:

(Yes, I'm flying them out of sequence)

By the way...nice job using multiple runways at the Port Moresby complex for some of these missions...it's a really cool way to do it!

Glad you like that Rami.

In one of the Solomon missions I'm working on I have 2 flights of Wildcats, 1 flight of SBDs and 1 flight of P-38s all taking off at the same time and join up before you warp. I think it adds some realism to the mission. It takes a little bit of work but worth the effort.

It took a few passes, but I managed to get them all. (After taking this pic and looking behind me to admire my handiwork, I flew straight into a palm tree. Oops!

Al,

I tried flying RAAF mission 005 tonight. I got over the enemy bombers, and did a half-roll to pull down and engage the bombers, but I dropped my flaps a notch or two to control my speed. Did I accidentally trigger the end of the mission? :isadizzy:

Flaps are set for 75% toend mission.Remember I did the mission with Lindsay's P-40 ans the flaps on that are 33%,67% and 100%.The FDG one may be different.

So was mission six, but I was told when I landed that I failed the mission, despite bagging the three Bettys. :isadizzy:

Hey Al,

I embarked on mission eight, and your mission was a great tonic after dealing with nitwits all day. (Not my family, some other issues) I really enjoyed diving ten thousand feet to attack two formations of Nells, and screaming through the formation at over 350 knots. I was able to take down three in the first pass!

Mama always said I like to leave a trail of wreckage in my wake...:icon_lol:

The mission at 5,000 feet over the harbor was nice...I couldn't bag a Zero though, my wingmen did.

Rami,

I checked the mission and I had the Bettys as must be destroyed and 3 kills.If you change the bettys to none it should fix it.

Glad you are having fun.Maybe you'll get to the USMC Aces by next summer :icon_lol:.
