FS Force question

I like the way FS Force works in the VRS Hornet and some other jets in my hangar, but quite honestly I don't like the way it feels on some other planes; WWII warplanes, etc. Ideally I would like to have FS Force work on the Hornet and a few other jets, but have FSX FFB operational on other planes. Is this possible?

In order to get FS Force to load properly you first have to turn off "standard" FFB in FSX. (So, no FFB is loaded by FSX.) I get a dialog while FSX is loading that asked if I want an FS Force module to load (I get 2 dialogs asking that question.) In order to get "standard" FFB to load you would say no to those dialogs, let FSX load, change the FSX selection to load FFB and, maybe, reboot FSX. If the FS Force dialogs pop up, answer "no" again.

This is just my educated guess based on how I have FS Force working on my computer. Your mileage may vary.

You know you can set up separate profiles for different aircraft, right? It seems like you could make it feel pretty much however you like for your WWII birds without resorting to switching it off.

Yeah I know and I've tried that but never been really happy with the results. I have say, the VRS Hornet set for military fighter and it feels about right (I spent 12 years in Naval Aviation so I have a pretty good feel for it), then I set my VR Bearcat to medium GA, and it feels exactly the same as the Hornet, and of course a plane like that doesn't feel anything like a modern jet fighter. rvn817 explained how one might use FS Force and FSX FFB but that sounds like a major evolution. My typical evening of flying usually involves several aircraft ranging from an F-18 to a Mustang to an Edge 540 to a B1 bomber. I guess I just need to work on the FS Force settings a little more.
