Oh, shoot......

Hi mvg3d! I wish you had posted this great info before, I just uploaded my pack....but I think Rami will be able to help. :wiggle:

RAMI:

could you please put on hold my upload until I correct all dp files
according to this historical scheme for the four models uploaded by Pepe?

Thank you!
KH
:ernae:

Stefano,

I figured as much, I won't approve it until you upload the corrected version.

Thanks, buddy!

MVG3D:

I attached a new dp file to my announcement thread here:

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...-props-uploaded!&p=836804&posted=1#post836804

Please, let me know if the new dp file is satisfactory and let me know if you have more detailed info about the loadout combinations: external bombs only with an empty bomb bay just doesn't sound correct to me!

Cheers!

Hi KH,
I cannot check the dp file because I don't fly with CFS2, but only with FS2004.

However some sources and manuals report that the maximum load for the last series '1007 was 2000Kg, obviously with a very limited combat radius.

I loaded the FS9 '1007 I'm working (the original by Milton Shupe) with two 500Kg internal bombs and four 250Kg external bombs, in FS9 they will be jettysonable from the VC, after the release (I hope before Christmas.....), I'll make, if someone will be interested in a CFS2 conversion, a model without loads.

Roger that!

I'll add two 500kg internal bombs to the 4 x 250kg external load. It will be the "Heavy" loadout in CFS2 stock definition. Have you got more info about the both external 6 x 50/100 kg and the 2 x 250kg? What were the most common combinations with internal loadouts?

As to a CFS2 conversion of MVG3D/Mr. Shupe's Z1007 from FS9, I am quite sure there will be quite a big number of people interested.

What about a new Macchi 200 Saetta with the same amazing detail level you gave us with your splendid Fiat CR.42 pack? For some reason the Saetta seems to be a particularly neglected aircraft....

Cheers!

Hi KH,

I think that the 50/100Kg bombs load combinations were the most common. The external 2 x 250Kg combination was used ONLY on late production a/c.

Pietro Zazzetta (the CFS3 CR.42 author) has given me the GMAX Macchi C.200 for CFS3, it is ready to convert in FS9 (a very HARD job), but I have, at this moment, NO time........

Manuele,

I have some time, and if it would not be a problem, I could try the model conversion for you, and do whatever else I can to help, then send it back to you for final work.

Hi Milton!, If u do that, please do not use keyframes , to make it easy convertible to cfs2 without animations troubles.:wavey:

Hmmm, not sure how I would open/close the canopy and extend/retract the gear without key frames. Everything else is likely okay though.

Manuele sent the gmax source today and I have started the FS9 conversion. Now have all the part naming conventions changed for FS9, basic animations redone/renamed, and now have it exporting and flying in FS9. Gauges not working but that is for Manuele to look at.

Will send back to Manuele tonight for the remainder of the conversion.

Thanks for allowing me to help on this one Manuele; a very nice Pietro Zazzetta model.:medals:

Mission .. you can easily fix frozen surfaces with scasm....

MDLC /a , switch
Hi Mav , I´ve tryed but it doesnt work for me! surely i´m doing something wrong, but what could be?

That is what I mean with tutorials, for to not be in trial and error ,in each step. If u domain that , it could be usefull!:icon30:

Mission.... gonna sound really silly, but have you read the "README.TXT" that comes with the MDLC,it explains roughly what's going on... that's what i did.

As far as tutorials are concerned....... they DON'T exist anywhere... to my knowledge, did look way back in 06 ,but found nuthin.... so whatever i did was trial & error at the start, now it's like 2nd nature.... kinda scary really.

As far as where scasm is concerned for what it's worth ... yeh it's worth knowing, opens a whole new area.... remember ppl saying stuff like what things couldn't be done because they were "hardcoded in MDL" and that was just loadouts,if i had of listened guess i would of just given up.... but guess what, i didn't listen...cos i just don't do that!!! LOL
So just have go

Sorry Mav; see posts #24-27 for clarity.

I converted the GMAX source of the Macchi C.200 from CFS3 to FS9 for Manuele. Original model by Pietro Zazzetta.

I built the two CANT Z1007 models earlier this year as a collaboration project with Manuele.

Well it's good to see you around too mav.

Btw, I really like that pooch's expression in your avatar. Gives me a good chuckle.

Thanks, dvslats

That's probably my 1st and only welcome and/or greeting, i have ever received since joining SoH..... waaaaay back in '06.... guess ppl were just more excited bout the AH_Hurricane at the time. LoL
