Color Matching Tool

SOH-CM-2025
several years ago I tried a utility that allowed you to take a sample of an area of one image and apply it to another image to match the coloration. I want to try it again for use with doing seasonal textures but I can't find the program any more.

Thanks.:salute:

I use Paint Shop Pro, Any help?
Keith
Thanks Keith, so do I. No, this was a separate program I think, or maybe a "module" with PSP. You could take a sample pic, hilite a section of it and then apply those color variances to your base image. I wanted to try it when making seasonal ground textures in FSX. I could take a screen of the various seasons in FSX, and use those as templates to adjust the seasons.

I've used Metrix plugin with PSP for making seasonal ground textures with good success - might be worth a try?

lol, lol. . .I think my brain is fried from the Rhinebeck Project. I already have that plugin, lol. Guess it's been there all these years and I just never had a need to give it a try. Forgot all about it til your post kick-started my brain. Thanks!

Wait, what? The link to FSDeveloper discusses the very same plugin that was mentioned earlier in the thread here.

Yup, Matrix works with both PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro, but I may have created confusion by singling out PhotoShop in my reply.
