• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Since I am moving to Pensacola next year, it would be nice to know what members live in that area. in all the years I've been flight simming, I have never had the good fortune to live close to a fellow simmer.

the map was a vbulletin hack no longer used or supported, a privacy thing lol

Its really not necessary to place your marker exactly where you are. I have mine several miles from my location just to represent I am in South Florida (at least for now).

I think its kind of cool to see where our members are generally speaking.

Well, you are correct. It is listed there. But when I click on it, it says I do not have "permission to access that page"....weird.

Am sure the powers that be can fix this!

put on your glasses and just click the button at the top of page that says Member Map
 
Sorry, NC -- I confused Member List with the Member Map. Maybe I should just stay out of this forum altogether... certainly would eliminate a lot of confusion.:dizzy:

Map works fine. Found at least one member who lives in the Pensacola area we plan on moving to... thanks. Pete

Lucky! Miss being stationed there, have a few USN friends still in the area.
 
Thanks Ickie for putting us 'back on the map'.

I enjoy getting an idea of where people are and putting myself in my place ( before my wife does...:victorious: )
