I've done this quite plain F-84F paint as an exercise in natural metal finish. This is 52-6490 serving with the 48th TFW, 141st TFS New Jersey ANG operating from Chaumont-Semoutiers AB in France, during the Berlin Wall crisis of 1961, and flown by Lt. Richard Bach. Richard Bach is better known as an author, his most celebrated work being Jonathan Livingston Seagull but he has also written many other books including an account of his experiences flying with the NJANG - Stranger to the Ground.

I guess it was on the SSW page on facebook where we were discussing the book and someone uploaded some photos. Anyway, looks nice in a generic TAC scheme.

Yea, I posted the following picture on FB/SSW page of Richard Bach and his mount....

Stranger to the Ground remains a classic book that sparked the aviation passion....at least for me it did. :encouragement:

Cheers,
Hank

Will this be available for download soon?

Hopefully later today. Still experimenting with the bare metal panelling.

Done - uploaded at Flightsim.com. For some reason it won't upload here. Keeps telling me the file size is too big. Will try again tomorrow.
