Nose is done. Working on the window frames next. Moving my way down from there... such as those gun blisters.

Let me know if you need some help with creating the nose arts....I'm finishing up 14ARD right now, and should be finished with it soon.....
Once this WWII airbase is done, i'll be back on repaints.....

Ted, it looks great, but while painting the glass nose version, I noticed some texture problems on the right rudder:


see how the 9 is missing a part en the V is cut off? They are OK on the texture bmp:



so clearly there is some funny mapping going on here. I notice the same problem on these strafer textures in your shots, so if you are still working on them, you might want to take that into consideration

Thanks Jan. Mapping is different for sure. For instance the cockpit frames on the gunship is on b25_hsurf2.bmp... bottom left corner.

I thru a quick patch to see what that would do and sure enough, I have gray cockpit frames instead of green ones.

Looking at a few repaints that others have done shows some adjustments are required for the right tail.

Update:

Well, I've enjoyed flying the Mitchell and I'm thinking... rivets! mohaaa!!!

Did this little section between the cockpit and wings...

Forward half of the fuse use flat rivets, the other half uses button type rivets.

Some progress on aft area... just checking a few panel lines and rivets for alignment. Further detail will be added later and the round door that was missing on the right side. Also, thing of doing some without the armor plating.
